Ford Unveils the Enhanced 2026 Territory: Bold Design and Smart Technology
Ford Motor Company today revealed the new Territory, retaining its proven 1.8L EcoBoost engine delivering both power and efficiency, with a hybrid2 variant coming soon to the region.
This latest evolution of the popular SUV delivers even more of what customers love – blending bold design and thoughtful features.
From its refreshed exterior to its intuitive infotainment system and enhanced driver-assist technologies, 2026 Territory has been developed to deliver convenience, comfort, and capability. Whether it’s navigating city streets or embarking on a weekend getaway, the new Territory ensures the small SUV will remain a favorite from Argentina to Brazil, Mexico to Manila, and Cape Town to Dubai.
“Territory has always been about empowering young, dynamic families to get the most out of every day,” said Iain Jones, vehicle program director, Ford International Markets Group. “With the new Territory, comfort and smart technology come to the fore. It’s everything our customers have asked for, and more.”
Since its debut, the Ford Territory has become a trusted companion with strong sales in key growth markets such as the Middle East, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brazil, and Argentina.
Building on this strong foundation, the 2026 Ford Territory delivers user-friendly technology and efficient powertrain options – making daily adventures easier and more enjoyable than ever. Embodying the spirit of ‘Built Ford Proud,’ the new Territory sets a new standard for accessible, modern SUV ownership.
Bold design meets practical innovation
The 2026 Territory stands out with a dynamic new front end, highlighted by a redesigned bumper and grille, and all-LED head and tail lamps.
Two fresh color options – Cactus Grey and Oasis Green – add a sophisticated, premium touch to the lineup.
“We wanted to give Territory a more expressive front end,” said Jones. “The new LED lighting gives the car real personality and presence on the road.”
Inside, comfort takes center stage. The updated seats feature wider, more supportive headrests with extra padding for long-distance journeys. Fast-charging USB and Type C outlets have been added to both the front and rear, which deliver more power than standard USB charging outlets to ensure your smartphone and your laptop can be powered up quicker whether you’re commuting or embarking on a family adventure.
Territory retains the spaciousness customers love, including a generous 448-litre3 trunk that expands to 1,422 litres3 with the rear seats folded down, class-leading shoulder room for front seat passengers and ample knee room in the back.
“Customer comfort is incredibly important to Ford, and that’s why we’ve examined everything from seating to air quality and refinement,” said Jones. “We’ve enhanced every detail to help our customers feel more relaxed and confident, wherever their journey leads.”
Under the bonnet
Territory maintains its 1.8-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine making 140kW and 320Nm of torque.
“Ford is proud of its EcoBoost technology, and the 1.8-liter EcoBoost in Territory helps us deliver on our promise of economical motoring without sacrificing performance,” said Jones.
Next-level connectivity and intuitive features
The 2026 Territory takes in-car connectivity to the next level, offering a suite of advanced features designed to make every moment behind the wheel more enjoyable.
Audiophiles will appreciate the inclusion of Arkamys™4 3D Audio which creates a truly immersive audio experience for everyone in the cabin. This feature can be toggled on or off and helps minimize road noise when active, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality no matter where you’re seated.
Ford has also upgraded the infotainment system with a redesigned dual 12.3-inch touchscreen display, making it more intuitive and user-friendly than ever before. Drivers can now seamlessly switch between full-screen Apple CarPlay®5 or Android Auto™6 phone projection and a split-screen layout, which includes easy access to climate controls displayed in a sleek bar across the bottom of the screen.
“The team worked hard to ensure the infotainment screen was more intuitive for customers,” said Jones. “We’re incredibly proud of the improved aesthetic and functionality, especially the streamlined layout of the climate control system.”
For the first time, the 2026 Territory is available with FordPass™2,7, allowing owners to interact with their vehicle like never before. With FordPass™, customers can remotely lock and unlock their vehicle, schedule remote start times to preheat or cool the cabin, check fuel levels, and receive vehicle health alerts—all from the convenience of their smartphone.
Advanced safety
