Design:

This new SONATA On the front, Sonata’s horizontal layout integrates Hyundai’s signature Seamless Horizon Lamp and wide-set hidden headlights for a futuristic look. A new grille and larger air intakes create a more dynamic and aggressive appearance. A continuation of At the rear, the new H-lights emphasize Sonata’s wide stance and high-tech character. The black spoiler-shaped trunk lid and exhaust-shaped rear end treatment promise sporty performance. The SONATA N Line, which is due to be launched in our region soon, is more dynamic than ever before. With distinct elements like the enlarge front bumper grille area, exclusive 19-inch wheels, and rear spoiler express bold attitude, while the dual twin-tip exhaust amplifies the N Line pure sportiness.

Interior

Inside, in keeping with its sporty looks, the new Sonata interior provides a driver-centric layout with high-tech details that support modern lifestyles. Sonata’s new interior ‘floating’ theme provides a futuristic environment, with a 3-spoke Steering Wheel, Panoramic Curved Display, Full Touch-type Air Conditioning Controller,

Smartphone Wireless Charger, and Ambient Mood Lighting among many other new features.

Visual elements combine to create a levitating effect, accentuated by design features which maximize the sense of interior space. One noteworthy application of the sleek gear selector Column-Type Shift by Wire (SBW), taking up significantly more convenient than traditional gear selector.

Connectivity while in motion is guaranteed with both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® integration, and a Qi wireless charging pad is available to keep smartphones topped up. Sonata now adds a second-row USB charge port, a nod to today’s connected rear-seat passengers. At the heart of the AVN system is an exceptional Bose Premium sound system equipped with 12 speakers.

Performance

Technical specifications include a choice of petrol powertrains to be offered for Middle East and Africa markets, Also the Hybrid G2.0 GDi HEV option will add more efficiency and eco-friendliness to the powertrain options.These new powertrain options include the Smartstream G2.5 GDi, with 194 hp and Maximum Torque of 246 NM. And the Hybrid G2.0 GDi HEV with 152 hp and 188 NM of torque. The N Line will boast a Smartstream G2.5 T-GDi with 290 hp and an impressive 422 NM of maximum torque.

The Sonata has a refined chassis with improved ride and handling, with updated designs for front and rear suspension, and revised steering to focus on responsiveness. The result is a communicative, nimble and comfortable sedan.
