Škoda Auto has unveiled the latest iteration of its flagship ICE model, the Superb Combi estate, showcasing refined design elements and innovative lighting features. Notable changes include a redesigned octagonal Škoda grille finished in Unique Dark Chrome, complemented by signature crystalline elements in the LED Matrix beam headlights and slimmed-down LED tail lights. The headlights, equipped with 36 individual light segments, offer improved visibility and a distinctive turquoise hue, while the aerodynamic modifications contribute to a 15% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency.

 

Spacious Interior and Sustainable Materials

 

The new Superb Combi boasts increased length and height, resulting in a more spacious interior with expanded luggage capacity. Škoda offers a range of metallic and solid colors, including six new options, to customize the exterior. Inside, the cabin features a clean design with intuitive Škoda Smart Dials and a free-standing infotainment display measuring up to 13 inches. Sustainable materials, including recycled textiles and cognac-colored leather, underscore the brand’s commitment to eco-friendliness.

 

Enhanced Connectivity and Safety Features

 

The Superb Combi comes equipped with advanced connectivity features, including the AI-based ChatGPT software integrated into the infotainment system. This allows for expanded functionality of the digital voice assistant Laura, offering answers to general knowledge questions and controlling various vehicle systems. Safety is prioritized with the introduction of new nano radar sensors and enhanced assistance systems, such as Turn Assist, Crossroad Assist, and Collision Avoidance Assist, providing more accurate detection and proactive collision prevention.

 

Efficient Powertrains and Driving Dynamics

 

Six efficient powertrains are available, ranging from petrol and diesel engines to plug-in hybrid technology. The second-generation plug-in hybrid drive offers an all-electric range of over 100 kilometers and faster charging capabilities. All models feature DSG transmission, with all-wheel drive available on select variants. The DCC Plus adaptive chassis control system ensures superior comfort and driving dynamics, adjusting damping characteristics for optimal performance.

 

Innovative Parking Assistance and Improved Driver Assistance Systems

 

The Superb Combi introduces Intelligent Park Assist for automated perpendicular and parallel parking, along with Remote Trained Parking via the MyŠkoda app. The driver assistance systems have been upgraded with improved visual displays and new features such as Attention and Drowsiness Assist. Up to ten airbags ensure occupant safety in the event of an accident.
