Nissan Unveils New Skyline Nismo in Japan, With Up to 414 Horsepower

Nissan has officially revived the Skyline Nismo nameplate for the 2024 model year, and it’s packing more power and performance than ever before. The new Skyline Nismo is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 414 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 14 horsepower and 15 pound-feet of torque over the previous model. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The Skyline Nismo also gets a number of chassis and suspension upgrades, including stiffer springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars. The brakes have also been upgraded, with larger rotors and calipers. These changes give the Skyline Nismo a more agile and responsive feel on the road.
Visually, the Skyline Nismo is distinguished by its Nismo-specific front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and rear wing. The car also rides on 19-inch Nismo alloy wheels. Inside, the Skyline Nismo features Recaro sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The 2024 Nissan Skyline Nismo will go on sale in Japan in early 2024. Pricing has not yet been announced, but it is expected to start at around $55,000.
In addition to the regular Skyline Nismo, Nissan will also offer a limited-edition Nismo Limited model that will be produced in just 100 units. The Nismo Limited features a number of unique features, including matte gunmetal wheels, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and a special interior with Nismo-branded trim.
The 2024 Nissan Skyline Nismo is a return to form for the iconic sports sedan. With its more powerful engine, upgraded chassis, and Nismo styling, the Skyline Nismo is sure to be a hit with performance enthusiasts.
